| The
ITC multi-age classroom two
year curriculum is based upon year-long themes. Voyage of Discovery
is their First Year (4th Grade) theme and Journey of Exploration
is the Second Year (5th Grade) theme. From
there the students follow a social studies timeline, journeying to various points in
history, and relating all content subject areas to that particular time. The
ITC classroom does not use
traditional textbooks, although the textbooks are available
for use, if they so choose. |
